RAY MORGAN COMPANY (RMC) TEAMS UP WITH RICOH AMERICAS CORPORATION FOR THE SALES, SERVICE AND OPERATION OF RICOH COMMERCIAL OFFICE EQUIPMENT IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA.

CHICO, Calif., October 1, 2013-Ray Morgan Company (RMC) announced today the acquisition of select RICOH commercial accounts in Central and Northern California. In addition, as part of the agreement with RICOH Americas, RMC will now service and support all of Ricoh’s national accounts in, amongst others, Kern, Butte, Humboldt, Shasta and Tulare counties. More Office Solutions, a division of the Ray Morgan Company located in San Luis Obispo is also included in this agreement and will be providing the same services in San Luis Obispo and northern Santa Barbara counties. The acquisition represents for RMC adding several thousand MFP copiers and printers under their own product maintenance agreements.

Ray Morgan Company headquartered in Chico, Calif., was established in 1956 and is known for its fast paced, growth in the last 15 years. Today this California company has 18 locations in Northern and Central California, as well as Northern Nevada. Employing over 300 working professionals, and expects to exceed $80 million in sales in 2014.

Ray Morgan Company is the second largest independent Canon dealer in the United States. In June of 2012, RMC added the Samsung MFP’s and printer line to their portfolio and has since grown to be one of Samsung’s largest dealers in the USA.
